I am originally from The Netherlands, where I lived until moving to the United States in 2018. I studied mathematics and (developmental) biology at Utrecht University, before obtaining my PhD in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University in 2023. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton.
